Here, we painted just a hint of sunshine hitting the darkened rooftop, slightly teasing what’s behind it and hinting what the bird wants our main character to see.

To emphasize the drama of the scene it was used in, we wanted to give this bathroom a cold, sterile and slightly unsettling look. That’s why everything looks clean and symmetrical, and why we designed the faucets to have a strange, yet elegant shape.

There’s something about a drain that automatically feels cold. This shot is drawn in extreme perspective and with a diffuse lighting to convey a dramatic mood. It requires painting stone and metallic textures.

We had a blast at the festival, which featured many firsts for our little film: first film festival ticket, first program booklet appearance and first time being part of a red carpet for a movie theatre.

We designed these creepy looking trees for our short ‘From The Snow-Covered Hill’ to heighten the film’s visual identity and atmosphere, with the shapes referencing the spikes of a fence.

From The Snow-Covered Hill – Advance Screening

It was great to present an advance screening of ‘From The Snow-Covered Hill’ to an audience for the first time. The film really struck a chord with the crowd, who even demanded to see it a second time. Amazing to finally see and hear what moments speak to people. Thanks to the Eindhovens Film Festival for having us!
